About Me

Marcelle Trote Martins is a Visiting Lecturer at Liverpool John Moores University and a Research Associate at the University of Manchester. She has a PhD from the University of Manchester and master’s and undergraduate degrees in International Relations from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). Her publications include articles in Journal for Cultural Research, Brazilian Political Science Review, and Cadernos de Relações Internacionais. Areas of interest: International Conflicts, Memory and Trauma, Visual Politics, Body Politics, Emotions Studies and Timor-Leste.
