Marcelle Trote Martins is a Research Associate at the University of Manchester. She has a PhD from the University of Manchester and master’s and undergraduate degrees in International Relations from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). She teaches at the University of Manchester and the University of Liverpool. Her publications include articles in Journal for Cultural Research, Brazilian Political Science Review, and Cadernos de Relações Internacionais. Areas of interest: International Conflicts, Memory and Trauma, Visual Politics, Emotion Studies and Timor-Leste.
